Introducing Rosewood Virtual Academy
A trauma-informed, blended provision: real teachers, bespoke programmes, and delivery of a full-time broad-and-balanced curriculum for learners unable to attend on site education.
About Us
Rosewood Virtual Academy delivers full-time, broad and balanced education through a trauma-informed blended model for learners who cannot attend learning on a school or education site.
Each child receives a bespoke timetable—combining virtual classrooms, online courses, enrichment and structured home learning. Each timetable is anchored by a named key tutor and tracked via our secure portal which offers live timetables, set work, attendance, and progress reports.
We are pursuing OEAS for Ofsted/DfE registration, and operate as an Online Provider.
We welcome full or part-time students, including children with Education and Health Care Plans.
Packages for all needs
Our delivery packages are built around individual assessed need and agreed with commissioners.
Delivery options include:
- Virtual (fully online)
- Blended (virtual plus optional wellness check-ins at home, and attendance at community events such as sporting or socialising).
- Intensive (short-term, high-support with daily check-ins and targeted SEMH interventions).
All packages are mapped to a broad and balanced curriculum, include a named key tutor, safeguarding and attendance plans, and portal-based tracking of work, engagement and progress.
Packages can be stepped up or down as needs change and may include enrichment and therapeutic elements.
Reducing lost learning
Rosewood Virtual Academy is designed to minimise lost learning and rapidly re-engage children in education.
We act early: swift baseline and gap analysis, clear short-cycle goals, and targeted catch-up that converts missed time into measurable progress.
Trauma-informed routines, consistent adult relationships, and meaningful praise rebuild trust and learning momentum, while simple, frequent check-ins keep attendance and engagement on track.
The result is sustained participation, shrinking gaps, and a return to successful learning.
